Foot Mobilisation (FMT)

Foot massage at a spa centre.

Foot mobilisation techniques (FMT) are useful for the correction of joint movement, quality of function and range of motion. They are particularly useful for generalised aches or stiff feet and legs. Foot mobilisation techniques are also beneficial in the assessment and treatment of chronic problems. During this hands on therapy, the joints of the feet are gently taken through their normal range of motions to aid the body in creating physiological changes to postural alignment.

Foot Mobilisation has been used to directly treat many foot and ankle conditions such as:

Achilles problems
Sore calf muscles
Ankle pain
Heel pain
Sore arches
Aching balls of the feet
Foot cramps
Bunions
Clawed toes and hammer toes
